CASS'S BACKGROUND
Born and raised in North Miami, FL, and currently residing just outside of Minneapolis, MN, Cassandra Couri is an author, screenwriter, and editor well-versed in long- and short-form styles of fiction and creative nonfiction writing.
With over 50 short stories, notebooks full of ideas, and countless folders of works-in-progress on her hard drive, Cass's practice of writing can be trace back over a decade.
In her spare time, Cass enjoys reading, nature walks, yoga, pilates, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her partner and their pup.

PURPOSE & MISSION
Cass bears a great deal of resilience, due in part to lifestyle adjustments accommodating chronic illnesses.
She draws strength from her loved ones, relishes beauty in nature, and finds comfort and identity in written work. As she's spent the past few years re-learning her body and its limits, Cass's partner, family, and pets keep her grounded and sane.
Cass strives to empower more unique voices and diverse backgrounds. She believes humanity's greatest strength lies within intersectionality and finding common ground and respect amidst individual struggles.
