Every service includes a 45-minute intake consultation prior to edits, and a 30-minute discussion after edits and feedback are reviewed by the client.
All fees are negotiable based on the project's specific needs. This will be established within initial consultation to ensure the most appropriate service for the client's project is agreed upon and rendered.
A 30% deposit is required upon conclusion of initial consultation.
Any project eclipsing $3,500 qualifies for unlimited revisions.
PROOFREADING
Reviewing manuscript for rudimentary issues, such as grammar, spelling, continuity, consistency, clear and present messages/themes, perspective/POV, and appropriate language.
This should be one of the final steps before self-publishing or querying.
Fees: Flat rate of $250 for up to 40,000 words
$2.50/additional *page or $0.01/additional word

LINE EDITING
Meticulous line-by-line edits and suggestions for improvement of overall story. Much more of a hand-holding method, borderline coaching, depending on author’s individual skills.
Includes a 60-min intake video call to understand writer’s intention and perspectives on their story.
Fees: Flat rate of $2250 for up to 40,000 words
$10/additional *page or $0.05/additional word

SENSITIVITY READING
Read manuscript to identify any misrepresentations, misconceptions, harmful stereotypes, elements of an issue that might be missing the mark, lack of impact, lack of empathy, lack of clarity, lack of respect, and controversial subjects.
